How we make our Shahi Gulkand?
Our Gulkand begins its journey in the early mornings, when fresh pink Damask roses are handpicked at the peak of their bloom from our own fields. Only the healthiest flowers are chosen, ensuring unmatched fragrance and flavor.
Each petal is carefully separated by hand and then double-checked to remove any trace of leaves or impurities. This patience and precision are what keep the purity of our product intact.
The petals are then placed in traditional wooden barrels, where we gently layer them with the finest quality natural sugar. This ancient method allows the petals and sugar to merge gradually, preserving their nutrients and aroma.
Inside a controlled, hygienic environment, the mixture is slowly crushed. No one is allowed to enter during this process, ensuring that the blend remains untouched by dust, flies, or bugs — pure as nature intended.
Once ready, the barrels are placed under warm natural sunlight for weeks. Here, time does its magic: the petals and sugar slowly transform into a rich, fragrant, and naturally sweet preserve.
The result? A jar of pure, preservative-free Gulkand — bursting with aroma, flavor, and the cooling health benefits that have made it a treasured delicacy for centuries.
